As a parent, you are a critically important part of your child's health care team. You are the one who will be reporting concerns, soliciting medical advice, and following through with your child's doctor's recommendation. Because of the nature of this practice it is important for you, as a parent, to have confidence in your physician. You must also be able to talk openly with Dr. Narain and feel satisfied with the care of your child. A partnership between you and your child's pediatrician will provide your child with the best, most optimal care. Realizing this, Dr. Narain does expect you to ask questions, understand her recommendations, and leave her office comfortable with the plan developed to provide evaluation, care, and treatment of your child.
